Haha, I think I remember seeing this one for sale in the uk (for quite a bit less than $9.5k, mind). These were somewhat popular in the 90's when minis were still dime a dozen. Bar the tasteless modifications, though it looks like a better conversion than most, as well as a pretty solid, rust free car

My uncle once decided that his classic Mini was too high, and had too much headroom(he is around 1.80m), so he chopped the roof a good 20-ish cm. It was a crazy thing, but so much fun.
He should have never sold that one, or should have sold it to me. I have pictures of it somewhere, though I can’t find them right now.
